Community Support Centre Innisfail Inc (CSCI) Community Champion program represents the desire of individuals to contribute to the care of families, children, and community in the local area.


Our community champions bring different skills, knowledge and experience to our organization. CSCI recognizes community champions as a pathway to communicate with its community to develop social connectedness and inclusivity. We respect and value the diversity brought to us by community champions.

Care Crew Champion

The Care Crew is an essential group within the CSCI the Champion program. The Care Crew are called upon when the threat of an adverse weather event, disaster or emergency has impacted our community. Care Crew Champions assist vulnerable members of the community with a range of tasks in the phases of preparation, prevention, response, and recovery.


From making sandwiches, to helping to remove green waste from an elderly persons yard, there is a way in which every Care Crew Champion can contribute. Care Crew Champions rise to the occasion and are willing to get in and do what they can to help those in our community who need it most.

Blue Card

If you do not have a current Blue Card and would like support to apply, call the Centre on (07) 4043 8400 to arrange an appointment with one of our staff.


Community Support Centre Innisfail (CSCI) is a community organisation that works with families, children and individuals. All staff including volunteers are required to obtain a Blue Card prior to commencing at the CSCI.


How to Apply for a Blue Card:


Step 1. Register for an online account

Go to the QLD Government website and click on 'Apply for a blue card'


Step 2. Provide your account number

Provide your account number to CSCI by contacting CSCI reception on (07) 4043 8400


Step 3. Complete the online application

Go to My Blue Card website and login into your account and complete the application
